About the Destination

The name Anthargange translates to “Inner Stream” in Kannada, owing to the mysterious underground spring that flows through the rocks and feeds a perennial stream. At an altitude of around 1,220 meters, it offers a cool and refreshing climate even during warmer months.

How to Reach Anthargange

By Road:
Anthargange is well connected by road. You can drive or hire a cab from Bengaluru via NH75, reaching Kolar and then taking a short detour to Anthargange. The journey takes approximately 2 hours.

By Bus:
Kolar is accessible by KSRTC and private buses from Bengaluru. From Kolar, you can take an auto-rickshaw or a local taxi to Anthargange, which is just 3–4 km away.

By Train:
The nearest railway station is Kolar Railway Station, connected to major towns in Karnataka. From there, local transport is available to reach the site.

By Air:
The closest airport is Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, around 85 km away. From the airport, taxis and rental services can take you directly to Anthargange.
